Diplocynodon sp.
Today Sea going Crocodilescan still be found living in the Seas around Northern Australia and Indonsesia ( Borneo) Fossil Crocodiles are not common on Sheppey although Isolated Vertebra and scutes can be found. Whole skulls are exceptionally rare. This specimen was found on the low tide mark eroding from the foreshore platform opposite Warden Point.
