The specimen below is unique. It shows the mouth of a mylobatis ray in situ in the lower part of the skull. Both upper and lower plates are in life position. The rusty looking skin around the plates is not well preserved, but represents the area around the mouth of the ray. Originally found west of Hensbrook by Dave Savage of the Essex group the specimen is now in the possession of Danny Hogburn
